Amanda's primary function is to create art; known mainly for her landscape paintings which are collected worldwide. Her second love is collecting and studying rocks, minerals, crystals, fossils, shells and all things of natural beauty. She has resided on Texada Island since 1990. In her former incarnation she worked in the oilpatch after studies in engineering, geology and geophysics.
She was editor for the BC Rockhounder magazine affiliated with the BC Lapidary Society, for three years.
